UK JURISDICTION ON AIRCRAFT NOISE MATTERS
1. We have recently received an enquiry from the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) about the UK's responsibilities for ensuring that its overseas territories comply with the Standards on aircraft noise as set out in Annex 16 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation.
2. I should be grateful if you would let us know the current position on aircraft noise standards in relation to the Hong Kong register.
