1. The following is the text of a message passed to BHC Wellington, in reply to their TUR.

Shaw (BA) has telexed Mathieson (ANZ) saying he will be pleased to meet ANZ's London representatives as soon as they can be briefed.

2. Now that we appear to have an understanding between Governments on the way forward (ie by combining an existing Los Angeles London fare with a new cheaper sector fare between Auckland and Los Angeles), we too hope that progress can be rapid."
