4. ALTHOUGH WE SUPPORT THE PRINCIPLE OF AN EARLY INTRODUCTION OF
APEX FARES TO/FROM HONG KONG, WE WISH TO RESERVE OUR POSITION ON
THE CONDITIONS GOVERNING SUCH FARES. WE HAVE THEREFORE ADVISED
CPA THAT WE REQUIRE TO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THE AIRLINES ARE PROPOSE
IN TERMS OF SEASONALITY AND, MOREOVER, THAT WE REMAIN TO BE
PERSUADED THAT THE HONG KONG-AUSTRALIA ROUTE SHOULD NOT ENJOY
A ONE-WAY APEX FARE IN COMMON WITH THE AUSTRALIA-LONDON ROUTE.
WE ARE ALSO SOMEWHAT DISAPPOINTED AT THE HEAVY SURCHARGE
PROPOSED FOR THE PEAK PERIODS.
