An Ordinance to amend the Estate Duty Ordinance.

[6th July, 1979]

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Estate Duty (Amendment) Short title. (No. 2) Ordinance 1979.

2. Section 40(5) of the principal Ordinance is amended by inserting Amendment of after "holder of an office," the following-

section 40.

(Cap 111.)

"nor being, in the case of a person dying on or after the commence- ment of the Estate Duty (Amendment) (No. 2) Ordinance 1979, an exemption conferred by section 10(b).".
