.1

(1) If the Governor in Counoil is satisfied that the licensee has without just cause or excuse failed to pay the royalty/ monthly rent when due, the Governor in Council may by order served on the licensee declare that, on a date to be stated in the said order, the licence granted to the licensee shall be terminated, where. upon this licence and all the rights of the licensee under this licence shall forthwith terminate and the sum in cash furnished by way of security shall be forfeited to the Crown.

(2) If the licensee shall fail or neglect to comply with any order made under Regulations 53 and 54 of the Ferries Regulations or if the Governor in Council shall make any order under Regulation 55 and 56 of the Ferries Regulations, the cash in sum furnished by way of security by the licensee shall likewise be forfeited to the

Crown.

If at any time the licensee shall commit or allow to be oommitted any breach of the conditions of this licence apart from the oondition for the payment of royalty/monthly rent, the Governor in Council may by notice in writing under the hand of the Commissioner for Transport terminate this licence and thereupon this licence and all the rights of the licensee under this licence including the use of the landing points shall forthwith terminate and the oash in sum furnished by way of survey by the licensee shall be forfeited to the

Crown.

If in the opinion of the Governor unforeseen circumstances occur at any time to prevent the licensee from maintaining a regular ferry service in accordance with this licence, then the Governor may grant to the licensee relief from payment of a proportionate part of the royalty/monthly rent payable under this licence.

22.

The Governor in Gouncil may in his discretion at any time during the subsistence of the licence, on the request of the licensee, extend such licence for a period not exceeding three years.
