UK/CHINESE SHIPPING AGREEMENT

submit a draft telegram to Hong Kong, based on the

DOT draft amended to take account of points made at yester-

day's meeting. A copy of the original DOT draft is attached.

HK&GD and FED agree.

We have not yet received the DOT draft instructions' to

Peking which are going up to Mr Morris this afternoon.

We shall obviously need to look at the two drafts together.
