Foreshores & Seabed Ordinance

Please be informed that this Club wishes to register a possible objection to the proposed grant of the lease described in GN 2498 published in Gazette No. 41/1977 in respect of Lot No. 341 in DD 212, Shelter Cove, Sai Kung.

It would appear from the plan that the proposed lease area may interfere with the existing fairway leading to the Hong Kong Marina and this in turn could mean encroachment of the fairway into this Club's mooring area. However the fairway itself is, as far as I am aware, not yet officially defined which is why I cannot at this stage register a definite objection.

I understand that the question of the location of the fairway is being discussed in the Standing Committee on Navigation Aids of the Marine Department but so far with no firm conclusion.
