Eventually it was agreed that a site zoned for industrial use which is at a safe distance from residential developments and situated outside the Aberdeen Breakwater and west of the sewage treatment plant should be granted to the Company for its replacement gasholder. The location of the proposed site is shown on the plan at Annex A. The proposed site is presently unreclaimed sea bed and the Company will be required to undertake its formation including

the construction of the seawall. Road access to the site will have to be made available by extending the service road, which at present reaches only as far as the Dairy Farm Ice Plant, further to the west. It is intended that the formation of this road will be undertaken by the Company as a condition of the grant.
