The erection and maintenance of of a gasholder and such ancillary buildings, including caretakers' quarters, as may be considered necessary by the Director of Fire Services.

The construction of a seawall along the southern and western boundaries of the site in order to effect reclamation of the site. Formation of the site and the green area to levels to be approved by the Director of Public Works within 24 months of the date of possession. Completion of the development within 48 months from the date of possession and bringing into operation of the

facilities to be provided within 60 months. No piling or foundations to encroach into the adjacent site.

Upon development or redevelopment of

the lot or any part thereof, no structures, whether or not subject to the provisions of the Buildings Ordinance, shall be erected without the formal approval of the Building Authority.

Government reserves the right to re- claim the foreshore along the southern and western boundaries and the company shall make no objection to and shall have no right to any compensation in respect of any such reclamation.

Government shall have full power to resume, re-enter upon and re-take possession of all or any part of the lot if required for the improvement of Hong Kong or for any other public purpose whatsoever upon the giving of twelve months' notice. In such event, com- pensation will be payable in accordance with the standard private treaty grant formula.
