MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE HONG KONG GOVERNMENT AND THE MASS TRANSIT RAILWAY CORPORATION AS TO CERTAIN ASPECTS OF THE DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF THE MASS TRANSIT RAILWAY

A. Agreement by the Corporation

The Corporation agrees to carry out the

obligations set out in section B of this

memorandum and to be bound by all of the provisions

thereof. Except where the context otherwise

requires, references in section B to the

railway are references to those parts of the Mass

Transit Railway which are in public use for the

conveyance of passengers.
