You and I discussed the desirability of trying to look forward with Metro-Cammell at opportuni- ties worldwide now that, God willing, we have sewn up the contracts in Hong Kong. end I agreed that I would drop Mr Sansome a line. I enclose a copy of the letter I have written. I enclose also a copy of the telex to which it refers and would like to take this opportunity of extending the grateful thanks of this Department to our colleagues in all other Departments for a most helpful response when we needed it.
