Chinese representative, and coordinates the activities of
other Chinese Government organisations in the territory) are

efficient conduct of business is hampered by lack of official
representation. Most recently, agreement has been given to
the establishment in Hong Kong of a Chinese visa-issuing office
subordinate to the Foreign Ministry in Peking. This office
has not yet been opened.
