(2) The Governor, with the advice and consent of the

Legislative Council, may make provision for the conversion of

existing leases granted by him into indeterminate leases.

Provision for administration of New Territories

The Governor, with the advice and consent of the

Legislative Council, shall continue to be competent to make

laws for the peace, order and good government of the New

Territories, and the Governor shall continue to exercise

executive authority in the same, for so long as Her Majesty

administers those Territories.

Saving

4.

The provisions of this Order shall be without prejudice

to the continued operation, for so long as they remain in force,

of all Orders in Council, Ordinances and other instruments

applying to Hong Kong generally or to the New Territories.
