POSSIBLE VISIT TO HONG KONG

1.

When you visited the Foreign Office and saw John Leahy on 13 December you said that you thought it would be a good idea for me to visit Hong Kong to discuss mutual information matters.

2.

I am attending an Information Officers' conference in New Delhi on 8 and 9 May and could come to Hong Kong on about 11 May.

I should be grateful to know whether a short visit at about that date would suit you.

3.

I have mentioned my proposed visit to Denis Bray. I am copying this letter to Robin McLaren, Dr. David Wilson and Derek March, with whom I was in correspondence about a visit which was to have taken place last autumn.
