The Foreign and Commonwealth Secretary, accompanied by those at Appendix I will make an official visit to Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Delhi & Baghdad immediately after the Tokyo Economic Summit on 29 June. dates and details are given in the programme at Appendix II.

PROGRAMME

3. TRAVEL
(a) Travel arrangements for the flight of the RAF VC10 out to Tokyo are shown at Appendix III.. The arrangements for this flight and the return journey are being handled by Conference and Visits Section, Foreign and Commonwealth Office in conjunction with the Ministry of Scheduled air bookings for those concerned are also being made by Conference and Visits Section.
Defence.
(b) Departure Arrangements for the RAF VC10 for those members travelling out from RAF Brize Norton will be issued early next week by Conference and Visits Section.
(c) For economy reasons, members of the delegation, where programmes allow, will be expected to travel on the Foreign and Commonwealth Secretary's VC10, rather than scheduled services.
4. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS AND HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
(a) All travelling must be in possession of a valid passport. A visa is necessary for Iraq only. Conference and Visits Section will arrange this.
(b) Conference and Visits Section are advised that valid certificates of vaccination against smallpox, cholera and yellow fever are necessary for this trip.
(c) It is also advisable but not compulsory for people who have not previously had a TAB innoculation to have one for this trip.
(d) Treasury Medical Adviser's Service have also advised members of the party to take anti-malarial pills throughout the whole of the visit.. These will be issued by Conference and Visits Section.
