1. I have spoken to the Assistant Private Secretary (Mr Wall) and to Mr White about the brief on Namibia requested in paragraph 3 of Mr White's circular minute of 15 June. It has been agreed that the briefing on Namibia already being prepared for the Tokyo Summit will be adequate for the Secretary of State's post-Tokyo travels, and that no further separate briefing is necessary.
