(Defensive, for use if asked what agreements will be signed during the visit). Signature of agreements was no part of our purpose in inviting Premier Hua to visit this country. However we are discussing various possible areas of cooperation with the Chinese Government and, if the timing was right and it seemed appropriate, we might, in consultation with the Chinese Government, consider arranging for agreements reached in any of these fields to be signed during the visit.
