Hong Kong, Port Stanley and Pitcairn are among the sites suggested by the Russians for NSS in UK dependent territories. We see political difficulties

vis-avis China and Argentina in the first two and severe problems of accessibility at Pitcairn. We have

therefore not included these territories in our first

contingency list of possible NSS sites, in para 3 of TUR.

views in case the Russians press for NSS in these

territories.
