SEMINAR ON THE FUTURE OF BRITAIN'S REMAINING DEPENDENT TERRITORIES

1. This Seminar was held at the Institute of Development Studies, Brighton from 24 to 26 September.

2. I attach the invoice from the IDS for their costs, totalling £786.60, and would be grateful if Finance Department could be authorised to pay.

3. Our expenses will be well within the limit of £1325 authorised. The only other bills to be settled are those for the travel expenses of the non-official participants (which I am passing direct to Travel Accounts Section), and these should not exceed a total of £300.

4. One participant, Mr Abbott, stayed at the IDS for four nights; but since he travelled from Glasgow, I hope this can

be accepted.
