Dear Mr. McLaren,
Thank you for your invitation to the Seminar on the Future of British Dependent Territories in September.
While I find the Seminar interesting I ought to make clear that I do not have much experience of developing countries and small island states.
I am wondering whether you meant to invite instead of me my colleague Professor Ian Livingstone from the School of Development Studies who is Professor of Development Economics in this university and has much more experience of the third world than I do. I thought I had better query this.
Yours sincerely,
Pete Hill
