I have now heard from the West India Committee with three good suggestions in the following order of priority, which I confirm is

correct

Sir George Bishop, until very recently Managing Director of Booker Bros., and this year's President of the West India Committee. He can be contacted at the Booker Bros. address where he is retained as a part-time consultant. He would be first class.

Mr Peter McCunn, Managing Director, Cable and Wireless.

I have no personal knowledge but he is considered highly in the West India Committee and has detailed knowledge of the Caribbean and its problems.

Peter Prowting, Prowting Holdings Ltd., Bury Street, Ruislip, Middlesex (Ruislip 33344). Self-made millionaire developer. I know him pretty well and respect his genuine interest in trying to promote economic development of our most hopeless case. His knowledge of Caribbean problems and the sort of contribution he could make to our discussion would, however, be rather limited. But if the other two failed, he would certainly provide the image of the successful businessman with a genuine interest in some of the problems we
