Kingdom (eg for St Helena and its dependencies) will

not be an option until the future status has been

decided of Gibraltar and the Falkland Islands, where

such a solution would, for various reasons, be

unacceptable.

administering the governments of British Dependent

Territories, and, for information, to the British

Resident Commissioner in the New Hebrides.

I am

sending copies to the United Kingdom Permanent

Representative to the United Nations, to HM Ambassadors

at Washington, Mexico City, Havana, Madrid and Buenos

Aires and to the British High Commissioners at Ottawa,

Canberra, Wellington, Georgetown, Port of Spain,

Kingston, Bridgetown, Nassau and Suva.
