UK Aid
This is currently running at about £1 million a year, of which over half is development aid grants for infrastructural projects, such as hospital extension and rehabilitation, water supply, and schools building. The Islands do not yet balance their recurrent budget and will receive some £250,000 in grant aid until December 1979 when it is hoped that they will become financially self supporting.
