I attach drafts of the agenda and briefs for the DTSAB. A set has gone to POD to be cleared separately. They are also clearing the CVs of their own candidates although copies pre- pared at desk level are attached.

2.

You may wish to note:

(i) All Job Descriptions have been prepared by the geographical

departments;

(ii) All "Requirements of the Post" insertions have been agreed

by the geographical departments;

(iii) We still do not have a definite answer from Mr Sanders as

a possible third candidate for Montserrat but Mr Duff agrees he should be included if he is interested. This will involve another insertion of his Biographical Details in Brief No.3. I attach a CV;

(iv) Miss Hunt agrees that there is no need to mention Sir P

Ramsbotham's case in the briefs;

(v) It may be necessary to add a reference to Mr Parker's

desire to stay on-dependent on what is decided regarding the letter you received today.

3. In view of the approaching Public Holiday, we now only have seven working days left before the Board on 4 June so we ought, if possible, to have these briefs cleared, typed and distributed by the end of this week.
