DEPENDENT TERRITORIES SENIOR APPOINTMENTS BOARD:

DEPUTY GOVERNOR BERMUDA

1. The term of office of the present Deputy Governor, Mr G P Lloyd, is due to end in April 1979. Mr Lloyd is an HMOCS officer aged 52, seconded from Hong Kong. He would be willing to continue for a further term.

2. Mr Lloyd continues to perform his duties to the Governor's full satisfaction and Sir Peter Ramsbotham has asked that his appointment should be extended.

The Hong Kong Government

have no objection to his continued secondment.

3. It is recommended that Mr Lloyd's term of office should

be extended for a further 12 months, until April 1980.
