1. The then PUS, Sir D Greenhill, wrote to all Governors when

the Dependent Territories Senior Appointments Board was first

A established (his letter of 5 January 1970). It would, I think,

be appropriate for the PUS to inform them personally of the

decision taken earlier this summer to wind up the Board.

2. I submit a draft. I have suggested that separate letters

might be sent to each Governor. Alternatively, the PUS might

write to Sir M MacLehose, copying his letter to the others.
