1. I learned today from the Union of Post Office Workers that Mr Paul Leun Kei Hon, General Secretary of the Union of HK Postal Employees, is visiting London between 26 November and 1 December and intends to get in touch with the UPW. My UPW contact is aware of recent troubles in the Hong Kong Post Office and thinks his advice may be sought by this visitor on what line the Union of HK Postal Employees should take in future negotiations with the Hong Kong Post Office.

2. I hope this does not turn into another exercise similar to that undertaken by the two ladies who came to London on behalf of the Audio and Shorthand-typists Association.
