Thank you for your letter of 17 November with its useful further information on the Shorthand and Audio-Typists dispute.

So far we have not seen or heard anything more of Mrs Cheung. But we used the material you provided to send further letters to the MPs who have shown a particular interest in the case: I enclose a copy of one of these letters for your information. As you will see from the final paragraph, Lord Goronwy-Roberts is concerned that you should keep the case under close review, and use the new procedures to settle it as soon as they have been agreed always providing that you have not been able to resolve it in some other way before then.
