I understand that the question of the paying the 400 shorthand audio typists the scale equivalent to that given to other staff under the equal pay scheme is still unsolved.
Certainly I should be pleased to learn what action has been taken to discuss this matter with the Shorthand and Audiotypists Association and when you expect this dispute to be settled.
