"We have no comments on the arrangements made by Govern- ment for the equalization of the pay of women officers. Our recommendations in this sphere have been limited to those grades which are wholly or mainly filled by women and which do not qualify for the scheme of equalization of pay. We were informed that fresh pro- posals had been made by Government for the amendment of the terms of service of married women and that these proposals were the subject of consultation with the staff associations.
