The Governor has asked me to reply to your letter of 2 June 1978 and to send you whatever information we can on Miss Nightingale's case. This comprises:

(a) a confidential Customs and Excise file

INV/DD/77/16, containing xerox copies of all the papers that Service has on the case;

(b)

a loose folder of Police and Government Secretariat telegrams;

a report NB/CON 80/179/77 dated the 9th June from the Narcotics Bureau of the RHK Police.

The information which must remain confidential, Documents retain and which should not be passed on, has been sidelined in red throughout. These items refer to suspects and persons currently under investigation.
