regarded as "unhealthy" c.g. the one depicting the young man going into a girlie apartment with his girl friend appeared to encourage a wrong kind of moral attitude. The Healthy Alternative APIs showing a young man having a good time with his girl friend appeared to encourage crude pleasure-seeking.

(b) Many soft drugs were readily available from

dispensaries and drug stores.

(c) The harmful effects of soft drugs and tranquillizers

peer group psychology..

Soft drugs addicts did not bear the same social stigma as hard drug addicts.

(f) Observers advocated that the Government should

pay more attention to the dangers of this vice spreading as taking of soft drugs could easily be the first step to further hard drug addiction.
