Thank you for your letter NS/7/381/63/XI/J of 29 July reporting on the visit by the Groups of US Congressmen led by Messrs Lestor Wolff and James Mann.
2. I am glad that the visit went off so well and that you received due acknowledgement from Congressman Wolff of the efforts made in Hong Kong, and by Hong Kong in the international forum, to eradicate drug trafficking. The time and trouble which all concerned in Hong Kong took over the visit were clearly well repaid.
