Dear David,
I was very grateful to you for reassuring Mr. Hallmark and myself about the case of Rita Nightingale and for letting us see some documents you had received from Hong Kong. You told us you would be glad if M”. Hallmark would analyse these documents and let you know if there were any further points we felt should be pursued.
We have gone very carefully through the information you made available to us and Mr. Hallmark has let me have the enclosed analysis of the documents. I am also enclosing a letter I have received from him in which he stresses once again that he believes the best method of investigating Rita's case would be to call for further information from Hong Kong on the lines of that analysis.
I would be very grateful if you could study his points carefully and let me know whether this further information can be obtained.
Yours eve",
Barbara
