My name is Geoffrey Ngai and I come from Hong Kong. When I was a young boy I was unhappy be- cause my father always tried to make me go to school which I hated. Instead of going to school I would go to the cinema or play football, anything but go to school. When my father found out he would become angry and beat me, so when I was about 10 years old, I decided to run away from home. I walked the streets and stole food but all the time I was looking around to see how people made a success of life and how the wicked people became rich.
At 13 years old I joined a gang and w i some stealing and pickpocketing and other petty crimes. When I was 14 years old, I began to take drugs. I soon became a heroin addict. When I was 18 years old I became the leader of a gang which grew to
