WHAT HAS BEEN THE PERSONAL ROLE OF THE GOVERNOR OF HONG KONG IN THE FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION?

4. The Governor was responsible for setting up the Independent Commission Against Corruption in 1974 and has given it his strong personal support from the beginning. As he has recently made clear, he remains determined that there should be no let up in the drive against corruption. In this he has the fullest support of Her Majesty's Government.
