1. Mr Crane will be calling on Mr Cortazzi at 1500 on Friday, 9 June. The Overseas Police Adviser will also be present and I have said that I, and perhaps another member of the Department will attend.

2. I understand that Mr Crane's recommendations, or at least a summary of them, following his visit to Hong Kong have now been received. We should aim to put up a piece of paper to Mr Cortazzi a couple of days before next Friday's meeting.
