Amend the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice

and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

Short title.

Addition of section 21A. (Cap. 201.)

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Prevention

of Bribery (Amendment) Ordinance 1978.

2. The principal Ordinance is amended by adding

after section 21 the following section

"Certificate

as to official

emoluments,

etc.

21 A. (1) In any proceedings against a

person for an offence under section 10, a

certificate purporting

(a)

to certify

(i) the rate of, and the total

amount of, official emoluments

and the allowances, other than

such emoluments, paid to any

Crown servant in relation to the

discharge by him of his duties

as a Crown servant;

(ii)

that any person was or was

not serving at any specified time
