26.7.77 attached Western Police Station as Uniform Police

Constable. That morning on beat patrol with 2 other Police Constables.

As result of message at 0725 I went to 227 Des Voeux Road. I found a Police Sergeant marking position of a body in road. He instructed me and colleague

to direct traffic.

I saw the body. I look at photo C5 B and C. They show mark in

road made round body.

Body was face down - head facing south. Red/White striped shirt,

dark trousers brown shoes - one shoe 5' from body. Circle near tramline

shows location of brain matter and blood.

When ambulance arrived I went with colleagues to Queen Mary

Hospital arrived 0740 certified dead on arrival by Dr. Fung Kam Pui. Body taken to Victoria Mortuary. I listed deceased's property.

Identity card, pen, keys, diary, $39 including coins.

On 27/7/77 at 0900, back to Victoria Public Mortuary with

deceased's sister and

Found on body no letter or note of any kind which might be taken

as a suicide note.

Identify card was Royal Hong Kong Police Force. Also some

tickets.

Cross-examination a student Kowloon Canton Railway ticket and passes

to Chinese University swimming pool and pass to Chinese University itself.
