I received a letter from Angus Miu Wah On, City District Officer (Kowloon City) informing me that your department proposes to widen Junction Road and the pavements along the road, and some buildings will be affected. I am much worried because my Ming Fung Flastic Factory is included in the proposed plan. As I operate the abovementioned business for the livelihood of my family, we shall lose our means of living if my business is closed as a result of the proposed plan. I hereby request your department to withdraw the plan, or, as an alternative, grant me sufficient compensation and a suitable site for the operation of my business. Since I have been making a living on this business for over ten years, if I lose my shop, my family will get into a desperate state.
