G.S. 84
Introduction
As part of the various improvements to be carried out to the north-east Kowloon road network, work has started on the construction of a grade separated intersection at the junctions of Cornwall Street and Junction Road with Waterloo: Road. This scheme was authorised by the Governor in Council, under section 6 of the Streets (Alteration) Ordinance (Chapter 130), on 31st January 1978 (memorandum XCR(78)37 (Annex A)), when Honourable Members also advised and the Governor decided, under section 3 of the Crown Lands Resumption Ordinance (Chapter 124), that resumption of the portions of private lots affected by the scheme was necessary for a public purpose. Resumption of the land affected has accordingly been ordered with three months' notice of resumption with effect from 18th February 1978.
Proposed Resumption of Part of New Kowloon Inland Lots Nos 911 and 4491
2
In connection with the roadworks now in progress, it is necessary to acquire the portions of New Kowloon Inland Lots Nos 911 and 4491 shown coloured orange hatched black on the plan at Annex B. Agreement had previously been reached with the owners to acquire the land by voluntary surrender and for this reason the land was not included among the portions of lots listed in memorandum XCR (78)37. But up to now, the owners have failed to complete the necessary surrender documents. As work must start on the areas concerned in the very near future, it is necessary to resume the land required for roadworks under the provisions of the Crown Lands Resumption Ordinance, Details of the properties are as follows:
(a)

(No 151 Waterloo Road)
