An Ordinance to amend the Widows and Orphans Pension Ordinance.

[7th July, 1978]

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Widows and Orphans Pension Short title. (Amendment) Ordinance 1978.

2. Section 35 of the principal Ordinance is amended by inserting at Amendment of the end immediately after "contribute" the following-

1978.

", or, he shall receive back such contributions as would have been due to him had he elected to discontinue being a contributor and had left the public service on the date of his ceasing to contribute".
