such land, by the owner thereof in

breach of -

(a)

any term or condition of the

agreement for sale and purchase;

or

(b)

any covenant in the deed of

assignment,

entered into or executed by the owner

and the Authority in respect of such land

shall be void.".

Section 18 of the principal Ordinance is amended

(a) by being renumbered as subsection (1)

thereof;

(b) in subsection (1), by deleting "The Buildings

Ordinance, "; and

(c) by inserting the following subsections

(Cap. 123.)

(2) Subject to subsection (3), the

Buildings Ordinance shall not apply to any

building to be constructed, or which is

being constructed, by the Authority and to

any building which is vested in the

Authority and no part of which has been

sold or otherwise disposed of under section

17A.
