This offer of a grant of land in exchange would be subject

to the following provisos :-

that you are prepared to surrender your land free of all

encumbrances to the Crown prior to:

(ii) that the area of land to be surrendered would be of

sufficient size to ensure that the area of building lend

to be granted rould be sufficient by itself to constitute,

at least, a whole building lot:

(iii) that if no land suitable to you could be provided,

Government would pay to you the rate as stated in para.

3(e) above; and

(iv) that it would be necessary for you to exercise your

option to take up land offered in exchange within such

time limit as may be laid down in the letter from

Government making such offer;
