I am sorry to bother you with this letter from a very old Oxford friend of mine, who at one time was Major of New Plymouth in New Zealand and is somewhat embroilled with the Republic of China. With the much greater friendliness between Britain and China, I doubt if anything can be done but if you could find out the anser to his question, I would be most grateful.
