David Owen has asked me to reply to your letter of 20 July concerning the case of a resident of Hong Kong who, according to an article in "Le Monde" was imprisoned for aiding illegal immigrants into Hong Kong.
I have asked the Hong Kong Government for a full report on the case and will write again when I have received it.
