The old lady also said to our reporter:
Some of the people arrived in Shen Chu'an on July 27th. Because of the typhoon, they were made to stay a few day in Shen Ch'uan, but when people from Hong Kong went to Shen Ch'uan to take them to
Hong Kong on August 1st, they were still not allowed to leave Sher. Ch'uan.
It seems that those arriving in Shen Ch'uan in July cannot be expected to cross the border to Lo Wu until 12th, 13th or 14th of August.

Some of the people waiting in Shen Chuan are said to have been
given an "exit number". Those who have not been given a number may have to wait a longer time.
