Terms of contract to be observed by staff members
of Precious Blood Golden Jubilee Secondary School
The school is run by the Catholic Sisters of the Precious Blood Congregation. Its objective is to glorify God and cultivate good personality. The spirits of the school and manifested in meetings and activities prescribed by the school. Consequently, all staff members should attend these meetings and assist their functioning.

All teaching staff have the responsibility to assist the the school in administrative work, in supervising and counselling students in extra-curricular activities.
All political activities or sayings involving political parties are strictly forbidden.
If any teaching staff members must put up posters in the school, the posters must first be examined by the Principal. Permission must also be obtained from her,
Teaching staff are not allowed to do any work not concerned with teaching in classes.
Duties, subjects taught and time-tables of teaching staff, once being finalized by the Principal, cannot be altered or changed by any staff-members.
Reference books, supplementary readings, notes and stencils that any teaching staff members suggest or give to students must be relevant to the curriculumand in accordance with the objective of the school. Permission must always be obtained from.the Principal.
Should any teaching staff members require students to stay in school after regular lessons have ended for extra- curricular activities, extra-lessons, tests or experiments,

cause for staying, time and the numbers of students involved must be reported to the Principal and Permission obtained beforehand.
All staff members should be loyal to the School, Without permission, no staff can use the School name or the School premises for any meetings or activities.
10. Without the permission of the Principal, ho staff members can collect or receive any money from students in the school.
11. All staff members must arrive to school punctually for lessons
and duties so as to set an example for students. All staff members must arrive to school ten minutes before lessons begin. Without the permission of the Principal, no staff can arrive late or leave early without sufficient reasons. 12. Fully employed teaching staff, without the permission of the
Supervisor, cannot take up any outside-school jobs or duties SO as to give full credits to their professional spirits. In principle, they should stay whole day (according to school hours) in school. If any teaching staff should leave the school early, the cause for so-doing must be explained to the Principal and permission obtained.
13. Should friends and relatives of any staff members enter the
school for visits or taking part in school activities, permission must first be obtained from the Principal.
14. The School Management Committee reserves the right to dismiss,
after appropriate notice, any staff members who fail to observe any of the above 13 regulations.
15.
Concerning salaries, sick-leave, maternity leave, no pay leave, and retirement of the teaching staff, and all others not contained in this contract, the school will abide by the Education Code of Aid for Secondary Schools.
16. All staff members must abide by this contract.
