note is by no means the complete story. The full facts will probably

not be known until the Committee of Enquiry which is looking into

the dispute completes its final report. At this stage, the important

thing to stress is that the Committee, in an interim report, have

proposed a compromise solution which should enable all the children

affected by the dispute to resume their normal studies when the new

school year opens in September.
