The Government has accepted the recommendation and is taking action.

Government, of course, accepts the view that parents should have the choice
of which school their children should attend and arrangements for them to do
this are being made. Further details will be announced shortly.
3. The Committee has also recommended that statements of the Precious Blood
School accounts and of the change of sponsorship of the St. Teresa School should
be published. These will be issued later today. The information contained in
these statements is drawn from records that were made available to the Committee
of Enquiry. However, the Government will not comment on other matters contained
in the Interim Report until the Final Report is received.
